Use the following steps to make Open in a separate PowerPoint window as the default action for opening PowerPoint presentations.

If you are using Windows 7 or Windows Vista:

1. Right-click on a PowerPoint presentation and select Open with >> Choose default program... menu item.
2. Ensure that the Always use the selected program to open this kind of file box is checked.
3. Click the Browse... button.
4. Locate and select Program Files >> Herbisoft >> Herbisoft Multiple Windows for PowerPoint >> MultiPowerPoint.exe
5. Click Open button.
6. Click OK button.

If you are using Windows XP:

1. In Windows XP, select Start >> Control Panel menu item.
2. Select Tools >> Folder Options... menu item.
3. Select the File Types tab.
4. Locate and select PPT file extension (Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation file type) from the list.
